Designed for CATV field engineers and technicians, GAO8385 can test CATV signal levels in both channel and frequency modes, and measure CATV TILT, C/N, and Trunk Cable Voltage. In channel mode, it scans all channels and records signal levels in internal memory for later analysis, where as in frequency, it displays spectrums and tests frequency ranges. Portable unit supports max. channel scan of 125 channels at speed of 30 channels/min. LCD screen displays test results.

Handheld Signal Level Analyzer for CATV Systems
Toronto, Canada - GAO Instruments (www.GAOInstruments.com) has rolled out a signal level analyzer, which is a versatile and high performance analyzer intended to facilitate CATV field engineers and technicians in the installation and testing of CATV systems. This handheld signal level analyzer, GAO20500015, tests CATV signal levels in both channel (SCAN) and frequency (SPECTRUM) modes. In "SCAN" mode, the analyzer scans all channels and records signal levels in internal memory for later analysis. In "SPECTRUM" mode, the analyzer displays the spectrums and tests frequency ranges. It supports a maximum channel scan of 125 channels at a speed of 30 channels per minute. This signal level analyzer possesses a large high resolution LCD screen for a clear display of test results and stores twenty-three groups of scanned data (up to 100 channels per group).
