October 7, 2009 - Designed for load cell, strain gage, or single-ended use, DC-powered Model 4850 offers 4 individual amplifier channels. Each channel contains precision instrumentation amplifier with individual Zero and Span adjustments as well as filtered 0-10 Vdc output. Input range of 0-30 mV is compatible with most strain gage-based load cell or pressure transducer outputs. Built-in excitation supply, capable of driving four 350 ohm bridges, is adjustable from 5-10 Vdc.

4 Channel 0-10V Load Cell and Strain Gage Signal Conditioner


Calex Mfg. Co., Inc. of Concord, California announces the availability of the Calex Model 4850. The Calex Model 4850 is a 4-channel DC powered unit designed for load cell, strain gage, or single ended use. The 4850 consists of 4 individual amplifier channels and an adjustable excitation supply. Priced at less than $125.00 per channel, it is an ideal solution for applications with up to 4 load cells..

The built-in excitation supply is capable of driving four 350-ohm Bridges, and is adjustable from 5 to 10VDC. Each channel contains a precision instrumentation amplifier with individual Zero and Span adjustments, as well as a filtered 0-10VDC output. The 0 to 30mV input range makes them compatible with most strain gage based load cell or pressure transducer outputs. Connections are made via easily accessible screw clamp terminal blocks. Zero and Span adjustment potentiometers are located near the connectors of each channel for easy identification. Overall dimensions are 5.75"L x 4.65"W. An optional Nema 4 metal enclosure is available upon request. The 4850 is backed by Calex's five year warranty.
