New DigiSewer III(TM) Side-Scans Pipe with Greater Resolution, Better Illumination
Randolph, New Jersey-The new DigiSewer III side-scan system for pipe inspection uses improved illumination and optics to capture sidewall detail with enhanced clarity. It delivers all the benefits of side-scanning-faster, more detailed pipe inspection with fewer man hours-at a price point and learning curve even smaller municipalities and contractors can manage.
With DigiSewer side-scanning, inspection personnel no longer need to detect defects in live video, and then stop to investigate further. Instead, DigiSewer captures detailed visual data for the entire pipe at speeds of 35 up to 70 fpm, and then presents multiple views (side, forward, thumbnail and virtual 3D) that can be rapidly and thoroughly analyzed offline. As a result, DigiSewer yields triple the productivity of traditional CCTV inspection, all while optimizing data for rapid transmission and efficient storage (3000 ft/GB). What's more, DigiSewer trends pipe inclination data, auto-recognizes joints and taps, and includes robust annotation and measurement tools. The system integrates with common asset management and GIS software applications, and supports NASSCO PACP defect codes.
