Shindengen Introduces the G1V Series of Sidacs Designed for Pulse Generating Circuits Including Gas Spark Ignitors

Camarillo, CA: Shindengen America Inc. introduces the G1V series of Sidacs designed for pulse generating circuits. The G1V series Sidac is a unidirectional device that offers small size in a cost effective package. VBO ratings are available from 75-90v to 210-230v. The G1V offers a low cost alternative to bi-directional devices.

Applications include gas spark ignitors for ovens, outdoor grills, HID Lighting, ion generators, and gas furnaces.

Shindengen is 50-year-old diversified Japanese company specializing in power related devices. Along with DC/DC converters Shindengen produces Telecom Power Systems AC/DC switching power supplies, power semiconductors, solenoids and automotive electronics. Shindengen has offices in Camarillo, CA (near LA), and in Bannockburn, IL (near Chicago). The main U.S. engineering and distribution center is located in Camarillo, CA.
