Shrink Wrap Machine wraps 75 bundles per minute.
December 27, 2001 -
Servos in Model 75GI eliminate need for pneumatic parts, and provides smooth, quiet acceleration/deceleration of seal carriage and seal head. Continuous motion machine shrink wraps random sized bundles from 3/16 to 10 in. high, and interacts with high-speed binding lines, presorted postal route sequencing applications, and counter-stackers. It can shrink-wrap printed products from tabloid to digest size.

ARPAC Introduces New Servo-Driven 75GI for Increased Speeds and Increased Reliability
November 30, 2001 - Schiller Park, IL - ARPAC, the leading supplier of shrink packaging machinery for the printing and publishing industry, is pleased to introduce the new high-speed servo-driven 75GI.
Unveiled at the recent Print 01 Show in Chicago, the 75GI is capable of operating at speeds up to 75 bundles per minute. The addition of the servo drives provides for the smoother, quieter acceleration / deceleration of seal carriage and seal head and this ultimately results in a longer machine life. This design has also allowed the removal of many pneumatic parts that were previously required. The removal of these and other components has eliminated associated maintenance costs and increased the machine's reliability / repeatability.
Another unique feature of the 75GI is that the seal head only opens to a low height until a taller bundle is detected and then automatically adjusts to accept a taller bundle. By keeping the seal head opening low, higher operating speeds are possible without the need for increased seal head closing speeds. This feature, combined with the controlled deceleration of the seal head, means longer seal bar life.
With well over 450 installations worldwide, the 55GI series of machines (and now the 75GI) have been the printing industry-standard for shrink bundling / wrapping applications for over five years. These continuous motion machines shrink wrap random sized bundles from 3/16" to 10" high and are designed to interact with today's high-speed binding lines, presorted postal route sequencing applications and the printing and publishing industries' fastest counter stackers.
Loaded with standard features, ARPAC's GI series can shrink-wrap a wide variety of printed products, from tabloid to digest and all sizes in between. Additionally, these machines are usually in stock and can ship to a customer's facility within two weeks from the date of the order.
