Sekisui TA's New Shrink Film, SOPRA(TM)

Adds brilliance, luster and reliable protection to your packages

Brea, CA - Sekisui TA Industries, a manufacturer of premium quality industrial packaging tape products, announces its new line of shrink film, SOPRA.

"Our research suggests that shrink film users are looking for a quality film that is easy to work with, enhances the appearance of their packages, and helps them improve their bottom-line at the same time," said Keith V. Lay, vice president of sales and marketing. "We believe that SOPRA is the 'Solution' for their shrink film needs."

Our customers can now add as little as one roll of SOPRA to their normal tape orders. Sekisui's next day shipping policy enables our customers to reduce inventory and increase turns.

Sekisui TA's SOPRA shrink film line includes:

  • LV: A high-performance, multi-purpose polyolefin multi-layer shrink film. It is specially formulated to provide a premium appearance and a soft, gentle feel to a wide variety of retail packages. A lower packaging cost can be realized due to LV's superior strengths; most applications typically require a lighter-gauge material. Works on a variety of equipment.
  • SP: A cost-effective, user-friendly polypropylene-based multi-layer shrink film. An ideal choice for high-speed automatic applications.

Sekisui TA Industries, headquartered in Brea, California, has been manufacturing and marketing a variety of acrylic pressure-sensitive products since 1976. The company also markets hot melt and natural rubber carton sealing tapes, supplemental carton sealing equipment, tape heads, dispensers, case erectors, paper, cloth and reinforced tapes and SOPRA shrink film.

Sekisui TA Industries is a subsidiary of Sekisui Chemical Company of Japan and is the largest producer of emulsion acrylic tape products in North America. STA, Supreme, Cohere, Superior, Adhere and SOPRA are trademarks of Sekisui TA Industries.
