Utilizing six 15 hp VC-1 direct driven center-fed blast wheels for cleaning, Model RT 9616-SP is used for exterior surfaces of plates up to 8 ft wide and 3 in. high and structurals up to 16 in. wide and 24 in. high. Dual direction, powered roller table conveyor system features variable travel speeds ranging from 1-20 fpm. Variable feed rate can be adjusted to provide surface finishes ranging from SSPC-7 brush off finish to SSPC-5 white finish.

Viking Blast & Wash Systems announces the release of their newest plate and structural blaster the RT 9616- SP. This machine removes rust and scale from exterior surfaces of plate up to eight feet wide and three inches in height and structurals up to 16 inches in width and 24 inches in height. The RT 9616-SP utilizes six, 15 HP VC-1 direct driven, center-fed blast wheels for powerful and efficient cleaning. The dual direction, powered roller table conveyor system features variable travel speeds ranging from approximately 1 to 20 feet per minute. The variable feed rate is adjustable to provide for different surface finishes ranging from a SSPC-7 brush off finish to a completely white finish of SSPC-5.
