With cut-off slope of less than 1%, TECHSPEC® High Performance Shortpass Filters feature rejection band optical density of 4.0 combined with greater than 91% transmission in pass band. Made from UV grade fused silica, they are available in 12.5 and 25 mm sizes with cutoff wavelengths of 400, 450, 500, 550, 600, 650, and 700 nm. Filters measure 3.0 mm thick with clear aperture of greater than 80%, surface quality of 40-20, and wavefront distortion of 1/4l rms at 633 nm.

May 5, 2008, Barrington, NJ - Edmund Optics® new TECHSPEC® High Performance Shortpass Filters are designed with superior blocking in the rejection band while maximizing transmission in the pass band.
These High Performance Shortpass Filters feature a rejection band optical density of 4.0, combined with >91% transmission in the pass band. They have a cut-off slope of <1%. Made from UV grade fused silica, they are available in 12.5 mm and 25 mm sizes with cutoff wavelengths of 400nm, 450nm, 500nm, 550nm, 600nm, 650nm and 700nm. The filters measure 3.0 mm thick with a clear aperture of greater than 80%, surface quality of 40-20 and a wavefront distortion of 1/4l RMS at 633 nm. They have a hard dielectric sputtered coating.
