Suited for clamping and locking operations, C05 and C05S series are constructed with one-piece main cylinder body, stainless steel piston rods, aluminum or stainless steel pistons, and nitrile/NBR seals. Double-acting C05 cylinders come in 5 bore sizes from 12-63 with strokes up to 25 mm, and single-acting C05S cylinders are offered in 5 bore sizes from 8-63 with strokes up to 10 mm. For both pre-lubricated series, max working pressure is 145 psi and max thrust force is 3,000 N.

Parker Hannifin C05 and C05S Short Stoke Pneumatic Cylinders Provide Maintenance-Free Operation
Wadsworth, Ohio, November 27, 2007 Parker Hannifin Corporation (NYSE: PH) introduces the new C05 and C05S Short Stroke Pneumatic Cylinder Series. The C05 and C05S Series feature compact, short stroke cylinders in single- and double-acting versions, ideally suited for clamping and locking operations in a variety of industrial markets.
Because the main cylinder body is machined from one piece, Parker's innovative design of the C05 and C05S Series features an easy to clean unit. Stainless steel piston rods are standard for corrosion resistance.
The double-acting C05 pneumatic cylinder is available in 12, 20, 32, 50 and 63 bore sizes with strokes up to 25mm. The single-acting C05S cylinder is available in 8,12, 20, 32, 50 and 63 bore sizes with strokes up to 10mm. Maximum working pressure is 10 bar/145 PSI and the units provide thrust forces of up to 3000N for both the single- and double-acting versions.
The series' compact design, with mounting holes through the cylinder body, makes the unit easy to install in confined spaces. The units are pre-lubricated for use without additional lubrication, reducing maintenance costs and providing an improved working environment.
Construction of the C05 and C05S Series feature a black anodized aluminum cylinder housing and brass front end cover for all models except the single-action 050-63 model, which has a black anodized aluminum cover. Piston rods feature internal threads and are stainless steel, and pistons are aluminum or stainless steel, depending upon the model type. The units also feature nitrile/NBR seals. C05 and C05S pneumatic cylinders operate at temperatures between -20°C to +70°C (-4°F to +158° F).
