OK International Launches Powerful New Desoldering System & Introduces Unique Upgrade Option
OK International has launched a new shop air desoldering system, providing a powerful desoldering solution for today's production assembly specialists. The launch of the OK International MFR-1150 Desoldering System along with the company's unique MFR-UK5 Upgrade kit, enables assemblers to transform existing MFR systems into shop air desoldering systems.
The new MFR-1150 Desoldering System adds a shop air desoldering option to their MFR range of solder and rework tools. Incorporating a built-in power supply, desoldering hand-piece and unique venturi workstand, the system features an increased vacuum suction force of 25" Hg or 0.85 bar. The advanced desoldering system also features a hand-piece that can be used in two different configurations, either a pencil style or pistol grip. The hand-piece also increases solder collection capability by 40% compared to previous MFR systems thanks to an expanded collection chamber capacity. The replaceable chamber also reduces downtime and ensures a rapid changeover without compromise.
The launch of the MFR-UK5 Upgrade Kit extends the reach of the MFR range even further, by easily turning existing MFR-1100 or MFR-2200 series systems, along with older MFR- systems, into sophisticated desoldering units. Thanks to the innovative design of the MFR-WSDSX workstand, the MFR-UK5 Upgrade Kit can be easily incorporated into any older MFR system to extend its lifetime and dramatically enhance its productivity. For today's manufacturers, this development means there is now a shop air option for the entire MFR Series.
