TelaSHOCK Recorder

Description

The TelaSHOCK programmable shock recorder is a 3-axis, battery-powered, stand-alone recorder that measures and records the peak acceleration levels to which the package or container is subjected, along with the date and time of occurrence.

Typical Applications

The TelaSHOCK recorder is designed to operate within moving environments such as vehicles, trains and ships. The device is also useful to characterize environments such as production and assembly lines of delicate electronics, IC fabrication, communications and computer components, as well as active, vibration-sensitive pharmaceuticals.

For setup and data recovery, the TelaSHOCK is used in conjunction with a host PC running Telatemp's Windowsâ„¢ based software. Once activated, the recorder senses and records the shock and vibration levels that occur within preset "time bin" periods. The bin period is programmable from .125 seconds to 1 hour. The highest measurement within each period is stored. The TelaSHOCK can measure and record 43,680 time-tagged peak acceleration levels per axis. The non-volatile solid state memory insures the safety of the data.
