Enertrols Introduces New Line of Sub-Miniature Industrial Shock Absorbers to Minimize and Control Shock Loads from 4 to 75 Inch-Lbs. Per Cycle

Westland, MI - Enertrols versatile new, high-capacity Sub-Miniature Series industrial shock absorbers are small-bore, non-adjustable, self-compensating units. They are ideal for use on almost all types of relatively small, high-speed moving equipment.

By greatly reducing impact-caused shock forces, these extremely small, but rugged, shock absorbers let you operate at higher speeds than normally possible with old-fashioned types of cushioning devices. The self-compensating design permits operation under variable load conditions. Reduced noise is a major bonus. Reduced cycle times mean increased production and reduced costs.

Four different bore sizes, three different stroke lengths, two UNF threaded-body models and five Metric threaded-body models are available. Enertrols features built-in positive stops on all models to prevent bottoming out the shock absorber and also provide a positive work-positioning point. All models are equipped standard with buttons to absorb noise and prevent marring finished product surfaces. Threaded bodies are black-oxide coated for durability and an attractive appearance.

Energy absorbing capacities range from 4 to 75 in./lbs. (0.45 to 8Nm) per cycle, maximum. Effective Weight capacities range from 5 to 80 lbs. (0.23 to 36 Kg). Typical applications include small business machines, packaging equipment, robotics, instrumentation, automation equipment, circuit breakers, switching devices, medical equipment and processing machinery of all types. Complete details and specifications are available from the manufacturer, any of their world-wide distributors, and on the Web at enertrols.com.
