New Sab 32 Shield Connection Clips Provide Quick, Simple Connections in Low Interference Systems

Press release date: June 4, 2014

The new SAB 32 Shield Connection Clip from Conta-Clip, Inc. provides a quick simple connection when cables require shielding from interference. When constructing low interference systems, both the cable shielding and associated shielded ground are very important. The point where the cable shielding connects to the housing ground is a critical junction. The connection should be low ohm and feature minimal inductive resistance. The SAB 32 Shield Connection Clip makes this critical connection a simple and quick task in a variety of mounting situations. The SAB 32 can be mounted on a busbar, installed on a DIN rail, or mounted directly to the mounting plate. In all three types of installation, the force on the cable comes from a spring pressure piece. This regulated pressure ensures a constant optimal contact. With its large surface area, the SAB 32 enables EMC compliant wiring. The SAB 32 Shield Connection Clip is ideal for wires with diameters ranging from 15 to 32 mm.
