SAM Has Started a Family
Securitron is proud to announce the development and release of the newest member of the Shear Aligning Magnalock family- the SAM2 MiniShear.
The SAM2 is a shear lock designed for smaller applications, lower security needs or projects with tighter budget requirements. It has a holding force of 600lbs, operates on 24 volts, and, at only 1.14" wide x 1.06" deep, it can fit in some
amazingly tight spaces.
Like the original award-winning SAM- Shear Aligning Magnalock, the SAM2 was developed to self-align for perfect operation without the need for door position sensing or timing circuitry. Securitron's unique "opposing pin" design assures accurate contact every time the magnet is engaged. With the whole SAM family, release is immediate and total, with one model permitting concealed mounting on the top, side or bottom of aluminum, wood or steel doors.
