July 22, 2005 - SpeedTalker DN-BH measures shaft rpm along with status of up to 4 under/over speed alarms over DeviceNet network. It incorporates sensing and shaft speed analysis for real-time maintenance feedback and machine diagnostics. With product, users can monitor speeds of numerous rotating shafts and anticipate problems before they occur. Compact, 18 mm, NEMA 4X-rated barrel housing withstands industrial environments, and M12 micro connector facilitates installation.

DeviceNet-Enabled Shaft Speed Sensor now Available with Stainless Steel Housing

Minnetonka, MN—July 14, 2005— Electro-Sensors, Inc. has introduced the SpeedTalker DN-BH, the latest addition to its SpeedTalker range of shaft speed sensors. The new model offers unique DeviceNet connectivity, easier installation, and a compact, rugged NEMA 4X-rated stainless steel barrel housing. Designed to operate in a variety of demanding industrial environments, the SpeedTalker DN-BH sensor provides measured shaft RPM along with the status of up to four under/over speed alarms over a DeviceNet network.

"The SpeedTalker DN-BH sensor incorporates state-of-the-art sensing and shaft speed analysis for real-time maintenance feedback and machine diagnostics," said Brad Slye, President. The SpeedTalker DN-BH sensor is ODVA conformance tested, easy to configure, and features an M12 micro connector for simple, quick installation. The sensor is housed in an 18mm stainless steel barrel enclosure with a mounting bracket and hex nuts. Its rugged construction, compact size and mounting versatility allows it to perform in a number of applications.
