Seals are fitted with flush water inlet and drain ports for in-place cleanouts. They incorporate adjustment mechanism and monitoring provisions, allowing operator to perform preventive maintenance before leakage occurs. Seals are used on ribbon blenders, paddle mixers, reactors, screw conveyors, and bucket elevators.

New Meco "Set and Forget" AH Series Seals
April 16, 2002 - GEORGETOWN, MAINE: MECO introduces the latest specialty version of its patented EA-series seals: AH-series custom seals are designed to simplify installation, routine cleaning and maintenance.
AH seals are used on ribbon blenders, paddle mixers, reactors, screw conveyors, bucket elevators and similar blending or conveying machinery, and can even replace lip seals to isolate lube oil in bearings. Available split or unsplit, AH seals are ideal for abrasive powder processes in food and pharmaceutical industries, where frequent product changes and washdowns are required. Seals are fitted with flush water inlet and drain ports for in-place cleanouts.
AH seals employ the same elastomeric drive design as other MECO seals do, so protect the shaft from abrasion damage and accommodate 1/4" and more of radial shaft runout. Heavy stainless plate stators ensure long life, despite extensive handling. Split model can be easily assembled on the shaft and bolted into position. The seals incorporate a simple adjustment mechanism and monitoring provisions, allowing operators to perform preventive maintenance before any product leakage can occur.
