Model S-670 3-axis system fits 1-5.5 in. shaft dia, stores up to 500 files, and includes 1-axis super-linear PSD technology with 1 micron resolution. Featuring bracket sets for 1-10 in. shaft dia, S-680 5-axis system has 1,000+ file capacity and 2-axis PSD technology with 0.5 micron resolution. Both systems have measuring range of 30 x 10 mm. Dual Beam(TM) Detector technology allows measurement of center and angle simultaneously with only 1 PSD.

Hamar Laser Introduces Two New Shaft Alignment Systems
- S-670 and S-680 Stealth Series(TM) -
DANBURY, CT (July, 2008) - Hamar Laser Instruments, Inc. has introduced two new Shaft Alignment Systems - the S-670 and S-680 Stealth Series(TM) - designed to simplify the task of detecting and correcting misaligned shafts and couplings. The new alignment systems will be distributed exclusively throughout North and South America and Europe by Hyatt Industries Ltd., based in Canada.
The S-670 and S-680 Stealth Series(TM) are "next-generation" laser-based shaft alignment systems that feature the latest in super-linear PSD technology, wireless communication and innovative design, making them the most feature-rich, accurate and reasonably priced systems on the market today. The S-680 is top-of-the-line, fully-featured 5-axis system, while the more economical 3-Axis S-670 offers a feature-rich entry level system suitable for most standard applications.
Hamar's patented Dual Beam(TM) Detector technology allows the measurement of center and angle simultaneously with only one PSD, thus eliminating several potential measurement errors when using two PSD's and achieving greater accuracy.

The S-680 includes bracket sets for 1" to 10" (25 mm to 250 mm) shaft diameters, while the S-670 fits 1" to 5.5" (25 mm to 130 mm) shaft diameters.
Readout device options include a ruggedized PDA, laptop PC or tablet PC, depending upon system. The S-680 has a 1,000+ Save File capacity, and S-670 can store 500 files.
S-680 2-axis super-linear PSD technology provides 0.5 micron resolution, and the
1-axis S-670 features 1 micron resolution. Both systems have a measuring range of 30 mm (v) x 10 mm (h).
