The Powerhub Hollow Shaft Servo Actuator
Harmonic Drive Technologies, a leading manufacturer of harmonic drive gears, gearheads and actuators, offers its hollow shaft servo actuator, the PowerHub(TM).
The hollow shaft PowerHub is a compact servo actuator with a center through hole and the precision and repeatability of a harmonic drive. The unit delivers positional accuracy less than 1 arc minute and repeatability of +/- 5 arc seconds. Center through holes are available up to 27 mm allowing vacuum lines and wiring to be run through the center of the unit to external devices.
The PowerHub actuator is available in 2 sizes -20 and 25 with ratios available with ratios from 50:1. The output flange of the Powerhub is supported by precision bearings allowing the unit to handle large loads and high torque. Output torques range from 115-1320 inch pounds and output speeds range from 30-80 rpm.
