A Cut Above: Automation Devices Now Offers High Definition Plasma Burning Services

Erie, PA - Automation Devices, Inc. (ADI) is pleased to announce the addition of plasma burning services to their expanding portfolio. Dallas Holmes, Designer/Supervisor, says ADI's plasma burner offers the latest ProMotion CNC control system along with a high definition Komatsu power source and a 4' x 8' cutting table. "The burner will take a direct import of a .DXF file, or ADI can create the file for customers based on any drawing," says Holmes. "ADI's high definition plasma burner differs from standard burners with higher precision at .015"."

Plasma burning is an economical alternative to laser and water jet cutting at half the cost. Virtually any object can be created with a material choice of mild steel, stainless steel or aluminum and a 5/16" maximum material thickness. ADI's plasma burning offers automatic nesting, kerfs (material lost during the cutting process) as small as .025 in. and a tight radius with a high quality surface finish - essentially slag free. ADI can run single part orders or large volume production offering a quick turn around time on all orders.

Automation Devices Inc. produces a full line of tooled and untooled vibratory feeders and components. They are located in Fairview, Pa just outside of Erie. They can be contacted at 814-474-5561 or view ADI products and services at www.autodev.com
