New SRS Separator Eliminates 80 to 85% Dust/Fines/Powder
Conventional screen- type, press-side granulators are known to consistently produce 18 to 20% of dust, fines or powder during normal granulator processing. One of the major problems caused by this super fine, waste material is its tendency to burn and adhere to the interior wall of the barrel which causes both downtime and clean-up problems.
Fines, dust and powder also results in quality problems such as rejected parts and inconsistencies in the regrind molding material. SRS Separator simply removes powder from granulated plastic materials like no other system on the market.
