Door Engineering now offers wireless safety edge technology on all of its high-speed four-fold, sliding and custom door systems.
The wireless sensing edge transmitter is designed to provide reliable communication between the sensing edge and the door motor system. When the sensor detects an obstruction the door is immediately stopped from closing. The transmitter is located at each safety edge and eliminates conduit and field wiring, making the installation of Door Engineering doors more efficient and cost effective.
An audible alarm is activated when battery life is below 25% indicating that tie battery should be replaced. The transmitters are completely weatherproof and can be used on exterior applications.
