Lincoln Electric Introduces New K126(TM) PRO Innershield® (FCAW Self-Shielded, Flux-Cored) Guns

Semiautomatic, air-cooled welding guns specifically designed for construction

Cleveland - Lincoln Electric, a leader in the design of self-shielded wire feeders and guns, has introduced its new K126(TM) PRO (FCAW) self-shielded, flux-cored guns, which include the K126-11 and the K126-12. Designed for construction and heavy fabrication, these updated welding guns feature a 15 ft. cable, replaceable liners, interchangeable back-end gun/feeder connectors, long-life Magnum® PRO expendables, more heat-resistant gun tubes and integrated control cable sheathing for better trigger lead protection.

These guns also feature a new contact tip holder that is easily replaceable, saving the gun tube if the tip seizes and fuses. The new interchangeable gun connectors allow the operator to use the guns on a wider variety of Lincoln Electric and competitive wire feeders.

Trigger leads are now integrated into a single coaxial cable assembly to protect the leads from shop floor abrasion.

The guns are rated to operate at up to 350 amps at a 60% duty cycle. Each K126 PRO gun is designed to handle 1/16 - 3/32 inch (1.6 - 2.4 mm) diameter wire.

K126 PRO guns have a stainless steel gun tube jacket that is spatter resistant to extend service life. A 62° non-reverse bend gun tube is standard with the option for reverse and straight non-reverse bend gun tubes. Reverse bend gun tubes are designed to help take the cast out of stiffer, flux-cored wire. The gun tube can be rotated for easy access in tight spaces. Both guns include extra trigger leads for fast repairs and a plated steel strain relief to extend the life of the cable.

The K126 PRO guns include a standard 5/64 inch (2.0 mm) contact tip. The K126-11 gun has a K613-6, Lincoln-style gun connector and 3/32 inch KP45H-15 liner, while the K126-12 features a K466-10 gun connector and 5/64 inch KP44-564-15 liner.

Lincoln Electric's K126 PRO FCAW self-shielded, flux-cored guns are available at local welding distributors. Or visit www.lincolnelectric.com to obtain Bulletin E12.111 to learn more.
