Redmond, OR: Aircraft Rubber Manufacturing (ARM-USA) announced today the introduction of its new ARM-R-COAT(TM) self-sealing fuel tank coating. ARM-USA's latest innovation in ballistic protection has been independently tested and certified (NIJ Level III / EN 1063 level B7) to protect against .30 caliber / 7.62 mm rounds. ARM-R-COAT(TM) consists of thin layers of proprietary material designed to completely seal a fuel tank after it is penetrated by a projectile. A unique benefit of ARM-R-COAT(TM) is its minimal coating thickness and light weight design. ARM-R-COAT(TM) is the perfect compliment to any armored car, armored personnel carrier, or tactical law enforcement vehicle.
ARM-R-COAT(TM) is a proprietary fuel tank coating that can be applied to a vehicle's existing OEM fuel tank or to a tank custom designed and built by ARM-USA. Applying ARM-R-COAT(TM) to a tank can allow a security vehicle, military personnel carrier or aircraft to continue operating after its fuel tank has been punctured, allowing the vehicle's occupants to safely complete the mission or exit a high risk situation.
