Elisra Unveils Its Unique EW Integrated Active/Passive Self-Protection Suite for Helicopters at Aero India

The new system constitutes a new stage in the evolution of self-protection and survival systems for airborne platforms. With this solution Elisra presents a new type of system, offering a complete and comprehensive RF-Laser-EO protection shell for Helicopters and transport aircraft. The suite combines RWR, LWR, IR-PAWS, RF Jammer, laser DIRCM and Chaff/Flare dispensing functions, thus providing quick reaction time and effective responses to all types of threats.

With seamless interoperability of all of its components, the system searches and detects threats, provides warning and provides jamming against airborne and ground-based EO, RF and laser threats presented by all types of air defense systems, including missiles, MANPADS, ground-based fire, RPGs and others.
