New Bil-Jax X-Boom(TM) Finds a Place in the Market

March 10, 2008

Archbold, Ohio - The new Self-Propelled X-Booms from Bil-Jax have definitely found a place in the aerial access market. The X-Boom redefines the Self-Propelled machine.

X-Booms match industry standards with 45% gradeability, 3.5 mph (5.6 km/h) drive speed and four-wheel drive capability. Hydraulic outriggers have replaced the heavy counterweights found on conventional self-propelled machines. Set-up is complete in less than 30 seconds. This makes the X-Boom lighter and less expensive than other self-propelled booms on the market.

Two models are currently available. The 36XT is a Telescopic Boom featuring 43 ft (13.4 m) of working height and a 32 ft (9.8 m) maximum outreach. Weighing in at 4,900 lbs (2,223 kg), operators can transport the 36XT on a trailer with a medium duty SUV or truck. The 45XA is an Articulating Boom with a 51 ft (15.6 m) working height and 27 ft (8.2 m) of maximum outreach. The weight of the 45XA is less than 4,580 lbs (2,077 kg). Both X-Booms require no commercial driver's license for towing. There are a variety of options available for these lifts. Bil-Jax also offers a transport trailer to package with the X-Boom.

Celebrating its 60th Anniversary as one of the most recognized names in the rental industry, Bil-Jax also produces frame, system and utility scaffolds, trailer-mounted boom lifts, telescopic lifts, material lifts, equipment trailers, drywall equipment, event staging and seating. Bil-Jax maintains a reputation for quality products, innovative manufacturing processes and outstanding customer service, setting itself apart from industry competitors.
