Converting static work platforms into portable or rolling platforms, Self Locking Spring Caster is constructed with ¼ in. thick steel U bracket that supports spring mechanism. Spring moves with adjustable rubber pads at end of solid steel frame. As weight is applied from above, spring and pads lock and engage to floor for worker safety. Three different capacity springs are available to best match tension and weight load requirements.

Payson Casters is please to announce the addition of the latest new safety caster innovation to their lengthy line of casters. The new self-locking spring caster is designed for worker safety in particular for applications that include work platforms and portable rolling ladders.
The self locking caster actually converts "static" work platforms into portable or rolling platforms.
Designed with safety and security in mind the caster includes a spring that moves with adjustable rubber pads at the end of a solid steel frame. As weight is applied from above the spring and pads lock and engage to the floor.
The caster configuration is made of a ¼ inch thick steel u bracket that supports a spring mechanism. Three different capacity springs are available to best match tension and weight load requirements depending on the application.
