SSI Equipment Announces Self Cleaning Strainers
SSI Equipment, Burlington, Ontario, Canada announces Automatic Backwash Strainers for virtually maintenance free strainer operation. They are ideal where regular maintenance is not available or manual maintenance costs are excessive.
SSI Automatic Backwash Strainers feature a backwash assembly that rotates to isolate a small portion of the screen at a time, providing uninterrupted strainer operation. An inspection port allows for easy visual checking. The Automatic Backwash Strainer can be configured with a choice of scraper mechanisms and voltage requirements. The standard NEMA 4X or optional NEMA 7,9 control panel can be remotely mounted and is user programable to meet system requirement.
SSI Automatic Backwash Strainers are available in Carbon Steel or Stainless Steel in sizes 1/4" to 36" and larger with filtration as fine as 15 microns.
