Novacel Introduces Novacel 9390, Protective Film for Fragile, Glossy Surfaces

Chicago, October 17, 2005

Novacel of France, a world leader in industrial surface protection solutions, presents the Novacel 9390, a self-adhering film for protecting fragile, glossy surfaces. It is particularly useful for sheet metal co-laminated with a PET film or a PVC foil, which are generally used in the household appliances market, and it can also protect thermoformed glossy PVC foil for the 3D forming market, which includes the furniture making industry.

The film is 40 microns thick, transparent, and has an adhesive without solvent, conforming to the company's policy of producing quality protective films while protecting the environment. Its high luster and transparency highlights the appearance of the protected surface by preventing installation defects, especially microbubbles.

The film is available in rolls of 3000 or 10,000 ft and up to 9 ft wide and can be printed with a trademark, advertising message, or technical information.

Novacel will exhibit its solutions of surface protection, including the Novacel 9390, during the international trade show BATIMAT in Paris from Nov. 7 to 12, 2005, at stand 1N70.
