November 4, 2003 - Model B650 is a California OSHPD-approved bracket, which allows installers to brace and support existing trapeze supports and single pipe hangers. It is comprised of bracket, key, and support plate, can be adjusted to fit angle of support. Unit is available for 3/8, 1/2, 5/8, and 3/4 in. all threaded rod. Finishes include zinc-plated, Dura-green, HDG, and SS4.

Brace Existing Trapeze Installations with the B650 Seismic Retrofit Bracket
Highland, IL- Cooper B-Line introduces the B650 Seismic Retrofit Bracket, a state of California OSHPD approved bracket which allows installers to quickly and easily brace and support existing trapeze supports.
Suitable for all trapeze supports and single pipe hangers, the B650 Seismic Retrofit Bracket can be installed in three easy steps (1, 2, 3) by installers who need to retrofit existing non-seismic applications which support electrical conduit, cable tray and mechanical piping systems.
To retrofit an existing trapeze support, simply loosen the top of the hex nut, slide the bracket and key in place, and tighten it down. It's as easy as 1, 2, 3.
The B650 can be adjusted to fit the angle of support and is sold as one unit which includes one angle bracket, one key and one support plate. In addition, the B650 is available for 3/8, ½, 5/8, and 3/4 all threaded rod. Finishes for the B650 include ZN (Zinc plated), GRN (Dura-green), HDG and SS4.
Additional approved components for seismic include a SC228 hangar rod stiffener, a B333-2 adjustable hinge for longitudinal brace, a BB633 series adjustable seismic hinge fitting, and a B634 single channel adjustable hinge.
