The SG560 provides 120Mbps of firewall throughput, and up to 100 IPSec tunnels, encrypted throughput of 35Mbps (AES) and comes standard with two WAN ports, fail-over capability and traffic shaping (QoS).
With a powerful stateful-inspection firewall, three pre-configured security zones on separate LAN segments, service-based intrusion detection blocking, and advanced Internet connection sharing to protect the branch office network from the Internet, the SG560 delivers the blended protection organizations are demanding to thwart increasingly complex internal and external threats. The SG560 is a cost-effective VPN endpoint device that can safely connect a remote office to a central office network using secure, industry standard VPN access methods (IPSec, PPTP, L2TP) with hardware-accelerated encryption. With the inclusion of five Fast Ethernet ports, link fail-over and Internet session load balancing as well as multiple security zones, the SG560 can be deployed in a myriad of environments. If the primary broadband connection fails, the SG560 can automatically fail over to a second Internet connection or balance traffic between them, helping businesses realize the full benefits of their network bandwidth. In case of a complete broadband failure, the SG560 can restore connectivity quickly and automatically via a dial-up connection.
