The system, featuring STOPware's PassagePoint® Global v10 installed on a Panasonic Toughbook® U1 ultra mobile PC with embedded mobile broadband, will be unveiled at ISC West 2009 this week.

Data is collected using the Toughbook ultra mobile rugged UMPC loaded with PassagePoint Global v10 and is dynamically uploaded via an 802.11 wireless connection to the user's main PassagePoint Server.

The system is also well-suited for gatehouse or guardhouse sites, where visitors, contractors and service providers, etc., can be checked in with PassagePoint software using the Toughbook U1.
