Security Device Helps Solve the Increasing Problem of Theft at Oilfield Production Sites

The Valve Sentry(TM) Security Solution is a complete system offering a reliable and affordable solution for security to guard the oil and equipment at production sites. Valve Sentry monitors the incoming power to all controls, the wire to all motors or automation panels, and the thief hatch. It includes a specially designed enclosure to deny access to the off loading valves on oil tanks.
The Valve Sentry is a stand alone system that can be operated off a 12 volt battery or on the existing 12 volt DC supply. It is constructed of 12 and 14 gauge steel with no exposed fasteners. It can only be accessed by key and contains an electro-mechanical lock that is rated to withstand over 1000 lbs. of force and one million operations. If there is a loss of power - the lock will fail in the lock position and once locked the unit can only be accessed by the keyed mechanical override.
Additional features include a tamper proof vibration switches that has the ability to not only protect the thief hatch but other equipment on site as well, an alarm horn and a call box that will contact you when there is a power loss, wires are cut, or there is an unauthorized entry to the thief hatch and valve.
The Valve Sentry's standard features include:
