May 20, 2005 - Available in stainless steel, nickel alloy, or solid brass, Hydra-Cell C60 Series regulating valves balance system pressure for multiple-gun operations. Design consists of tapered plunger with valve seat, all isolated by Viton or TeflonŽ diaphragm between wet end of valve and valve top. When system discharge is completely closed, valve bypasses total system fluid flow to prevent excess system pressure. Pumps handle flow from 0-40 gpm and pressures from 75-2,500 psi.

Heavy-Duty Sealless Diaphragm Valves

MINNEAPOLIS, MN - Hydra-Cell Industrial Pumps, Wanner Engineering Inc., introduces C60 Series regulating valves. These valves are available in stainless steel, nickel alloy or solid brass and accommodate 0.75 in. to 1.25 in. NPT/BSPT plumbing. They provide flow from 0 to 40 gpm (151.4 lpm) and can handle pressures from 75 to 2500 psi, with fluid temperatures up to 200°F.

C60 series valves bypass system fluid to prevent excess system pressure. When a system discharge is completely closed - such as a closed spray gun, closed valve or plugged nozzle - the Hydra-Cell Valve bypasses the total system fluid flow. They also balance system pressure for multiple-gun operations.

The Hydra-Cell valve design is simple: a tapered plunger with valve seat all isolated by Viton or Teflon diaphragm between the wet end of the valve and the valve top. When excess pressure overcomes the adjustable spring pressure on the plunger, the plunger lifts off the seat, allowing fluid to bypass and reduce system pressure. The Hydra-Cell Sealless Diaphragm Valve eliminates premature failure of the plunger seal in conventional sealed valves.
