ROCKFORD, Ill., December 20, 2005 - GC Electronics, a manufacturer of electronic and industrial products, has added an extensive line of batteries to its long list of product families. The new GC family of sealed lead-acid batteries comprises more than 75 models, with input voltages of 4, 6, 12 and 24 in capacities ranging from 1.2 to 230 amp hours.
This family is ideal for use in a variety of applications, including UPS systems, fire and burglar alarms, power supplies, programmable logic controllers, emergency lighting, and communications equipment.
Available in six different terminal types, the batteries are also offered with flame-retardant cases as well as high-power options on select models that provide 15% more capacity than their standard counterparts.
The deep-cycle GC family of sealed lead-acid batteries provides long service, with excellent charge characteristics - including high charge acceptance - and are UL and CE approved. They also provide maintenance-free operation, deep discharge recovery; are valve-regulated and non-spillable.
