Non-hardening, non-toxic PLS® 2 thread and gasket sealer formula adheres to iron, SS, aluminum, Monel, plastics, and synthetic rubber compounds. Opaque gray paste is lead-free and is effective from -100 to +600°F, sealing liquids up to 10,000 psi and gases up to 3,000 psi. Sealant can be used in steam systems, refineries, gas service, refrigeration systems, and chemical plants and is available in 2 oz tube, ¼ and 1 pint brush top jar, and 5 gal pail.

CLEVELAND, August 17, 2007 - Gasoila Chemicals, a specialty chemical division of Federal Process Corporation, offers premium PLS® 2 thread and gasket sealer formula to provide an even tougher seal in even the most demanding industrial settings.
The non-hardening, non-toxic PLS 2 thread and gasket sealant adheres readily to iron, stainless steel, aluminum, monel, plastics and synthetic rubber compounds. The opaque gray paste is lead free.
PLS 2 can be used safely with dilutic acids, aliphatic solvents, ammonia, dilute caustic alkali, chlorine, diesel fuel, gasoline, kerosene, jet fuel, LPG, natural gas, petroleum solvents, heating and hydraulic oils, refrigerants, steam and more.
Easy-to-use with a convenient brush top lid, PLS 2 can be applied to seal pipe joints, plugs, screwed fittings and gasketed connections in several environments, including steam systems, refineries, gas service, refrigeration systems and chemical plants.
The thread and gasket sealer is effective from -100 F to 600 F (-74 C to 318 C). It seals liquids up to 10,000 PSI and gases up to 3,000 PSI.
PLS 2 is available now in several sizes and containers, including a 2-ounce tube, ¼- and 1-pint brush top jar, and 5-gallon pail. The premium thread sealant is approved by CSA® and classified by UL® and ULC®.
