Durex Ultra Flex Screening Media Prevents Blinding In Moist, Sticky Applications

LUCK, WI – To prevent screen blinding and increase throughput in highly moist and sticky applications, Durex Products, Inc. introduces Dur-X-Ultra Flex, one of its latest innovations to its line of self-cleaning rubber screen media. Combining extreme resilience with superior abrasion and tear resistance, Dur-X-Ultra Flex is made of a proprietary rubber formula that delivers the extra flexibility needed to prevent sticking problems and keep wet materials from blinding over screens. There is no stopping of production to unplug screens; material flow increases and carry-over and contamination issues are reduced. Used in medium as well as light-duty applications, Dur-X-Ultra Flex offers more open area than conventional polymer screens and is field-proven to last up to 20 times longer than other screening media alternatives. With longer wearing Dur-X-Ultra Flex, producers minimize the labor and costs associated with frequent screen media change outs.

Allowing fast, hassle-free installation, Dur-X-Ultra Flex is lightweight and easy to handle on catwalks and when positioning on the screen deck. It’s offered with square openings ranging from 2.5 mm to 11 mm, and is available in modular or tensioned screens.

Founded in 1965, Durex Products, Inc. serves the aggregate, mining, asphalt, and concrete industries as a leading manufacturer of wire cloth, urethane or rubber screening media; screening accessories; and urethane and/or rubber wear parts.
