February 15, 2005 - Wedge Wire Screen Grids feature series of parallel V-shaped wire welded on perpendicular support roads, resulting in plug-resistant opening. Variety of shapes, sizes, and metal alloys are offered to meet range of filtration requirements. For installation inside vertical or horizontal process vessel, support grids can be built in chordal or pie-shaped segments for access through man ways. Applications include catalyst beds, molecular sieves, hydrotreaters, and desulfurizers.

Wedge Wire Screen Grids

Houston TX. - For retaining media in all type of process vessels AMISTCO Separations Products Inc. now manufactures a wide range of media support grids. Common applications include catalyst beds, molecular sieves, hydrotreaters, desulfurizers and sand and other fine media filtration. Wedge wire screens are constructed of a series of parallel "V"-shaped wire welded on perpendicular support roads. The result is a smooth highly precise plug resistant opening. Wedge wire grids can be designed to meet a wide range of filtration requirements and constructed in a wide variety of shapes, sizes and metal alloys. For installation inside any vertical or horizontal process vessel the support grids call be built in chordal or pie shaped segments for access through man ways.
