Introducing: 'Valuline' – The New Standard in Affordable Continuous Melt Filtration
Kreyenborg GmbH, manufacturers of screen changers, gear pumps and underwater pelletizers for the plastics industry, displayed for the first time at NPE 2003 their new “Valuline” Series of dual piston, continuous screen changers. The Valuline is a standardized, mass produced screen changer available in four sizes for up to 8” extruders, and is priced competitive with slide plate screen changers. The Valuline is designed to provide continuous operation, double filtration area and a low maintenance, seal-less system for the filtration of polyolefins, styrenes and other non-technical polymers.
The Valuline is the perfect complement to Kreyenborg’s complete line of custom discontinuous, continuous and automatic back flushing systems, which are ideal for the most demanding extrusion, compounding and polymer applications. The Valuline costs about 40% cheaper than the equivalent custom built, dual piston unit with a 6”, VL-148 selling for just under $30,000.00. These standard systems are being built for stock, and the first batch will be available for delivery in October 2003.
