November 23, 2005 - House and Room Scene Interfaces enable wireless Miro lighting control network to interface with common residential electronic devices. Interfaces accept signals from maintained inputs such as switches or momentary inputs, including garage door openers, motion sensors, alarm systems, and time clocks. When signal is received from interfaced device, Scene Interface activates lighting scene such as lighting pathway from garage to upstairs for safety and convenience.

Miro Scene Interface Expands Network Communication


SANTA CLARA, CA - October 2005 - Watt Stopper/Legrand introduces the latest addition to its award winning Miro product family, the House and Room Scene Interfaces. Scene Interfaces enable a wireless Miro lighting control network to interface with common residential electronic devices.

Miro Scene Interfaces accept signals from maintained inputs such as switches, or momentary inputs, including garage door openers, motion sensors, alarm systems and time clocks. When a signal is received from an interfaced device, for example a garage door opener, the Scene Interface activates a lighting scene such as lighting a pathway from the garage to the upstairs for safety and convenience.

Watt Stopper/Legrand is a leading manufacturer of lighting control products for commercial and residential applications. Commercial products include occupancy sensors, lighting control panels, daylighting controls, DALI dimming controls, plug load controls and energy auditing tools. Residential products include Miro architectural wiring devices and wireless RF controls and residential motion sensors.
