Each platform can be combined with scale terminal for basic weighing tasks, or complemented by sophisticated terminal for checkweighing and counting. NTEP and OIML approved, platforms feature aluminum load cell with IP67 protection, SS platter, and painted frame. Units are suited for food, pharmaceutical, chemical, and OEM/System Integrators.

New High-Performance Weighing Platform for Dry Environments
COLUMBUS, Ohio (June 6, 2008) -- METTLER TOLEDO is pleased to announce the release
of the new PBA220 platform designed for light duty dry applications. The rugged PBA220
platform provides high-performance weighing in dry environments. This versatile unit is
available in a square or rectangular option, six capacities and nine dimensional sizes.
Additionally, the PBA220 shares all accessories with the existing line of PBA330 platforms, including low profile cart, roller top, ball top, column and floor
stand. The PBA220 is ideal for dry industries within Food, Pharmaceutical, Chemical and OEM/System Integrators.
The PBA220 series of scale platforms provides flexible and cost-effective solutions for a wide variety of weighing tasks. Each platform in the series can be combined with a simple scale terminal for basic weighing tasks, or complemented by a more sophisticated terminal for functions such as checkweighing and counting.
Versatile and Mobile
The versatile array of platform sizes of the PBA220 are available for a variety of applications, including ball tops and roller tops for convenient movement of packages. For enhanced usability, paired with a portable METTLER TOLEDO scale terminal, the PBA220 scale base can go where it's needed, thanks to the carbon steel cart with lockable casters.
The PBA220 is NTEP and OIML approved and the aluminum load cell offers IP67 protection.
The painted frame and stainless steel platter make the PBA220 a high-quality, rugged
option for multiple industries.
