Ideal for Restaurants and Institutions, Kills 99.9% of Common Bacteria and Viruses, and Reduces Odors

BOSTON, -- Electrolytic Ozone, Inc. has launched a new sanitizing spray bottle that replaces chemical sanitizers in restaurant and institutional settings with on-demand activated oxygen (also called ozone, O3) dissolved in water. The EOI Sanitizing Spray Bottle (SB100-Industrial) is a handheld sprayer that turns common drinking water into a surface sanitizer more powerful than chlorine, but without chlorine's dangerous fumes or residue. The environmentally-friendly, all-natural solution safely kills 99.9% or more of many common pathogens including e coli, salmonella, and MRSA, without harmful chemicals. And it's effective against common odors.

Operators can reduce the use of harsh chemical sanitizers and deodorizers with a safe and effective water-based alternative. EOI Active Diamond Electrolytic Process Technology (ADEPT(TM)) produces activated oxygen on-demand, instantly creating the sanitizer from drinking water. Hard, non-porous surfaces like tables, countertops, kitchen and bathroom surfaces, doors, drink dispensers, and more, can be quickly sanitized, helping to protect the health of customers and employees. The highly portable spray bottle is free from special charging stations and long hoses. On-demand means there are no worries about loss in sanitizing power during use.

O3 is a strong oxidant that is widely recognized in its ability to achieve more than 99.99% pathogen kill rates. And it is generally regarded as safe by the FDA and approved for use on organic foods.

"Our proprietary method of generating activated oxygen from water, in water, Active Diamond Electrolytic Process Technology (ADEPT(TM)), safely brings the sanitizing benefits of dissolved O3 to very compact, on-demand, and highly portable applications," said Wayne Lieberman, CEO of EOI (www.eoi-oxygen.com).

The SB100-Industrial is currently available through Franke Foodservice Systems, the world's leading provider of comprehensive systems and services for the global foodservice industry. Preproduction units are available for evaluation in commercial restaurant and institutional food service applications.

"The SB100 represents a genuine advancement in sanitizing surfaces in the restaurant setting in a safer and more cost-effective way," said Jeff Cook, Franke Innovations, Inc. president.

About Electrolytic Ozone, Inc.

Electrolytic Ozone, Inc. (www.eoi-oxygen.com) was founded in 2009 to commercialize a new miniaturized in-water from-water ozone-generation technology that enables compact ozone applications that were previously impossible or impractical. Since that time, with the backing of Element Six Ventures, EOI has brought synthetic diamond-based electrolytic ozone cells, subsystems, and appliances to water disinfection and surface sanitizing markets. EOI methods harness the benefits of ozone as an alternative to heat and chemical disinfectants, providing miniaturized ozone technology to enable next generation applications where compactness, reliability, and safety from excessive ozone out-gassing are critical.
