As the demand for durable, watertight performance increases, ADS launches SaniTite® sanitary sewer pipe. "The introduction of SaniTite is the next logical evolution of corrugated HDPE pipe and will provide a highly reliable and cost-effective alternative to traditional products" stated Kevin Miller, Product Manager for ADS.
The SaniTite pipe is a high density polyethylene (HDPE) product with a watertight joint that prevents water infiltration and sewer exfiltration. Made recognizable by its orange branding wrap, the patented bell-and-spigot joint coupling system exceeds the minimum requirement of ASTM D3212 and has been shown to provide continuous watertight performance.
SaniTite sanitary sewer pipe is made from only 100% virgin high density polyethylene material which provides the highest degree of resistance from abrasion and corrosive attacks from acidic and alkaline soils and chemicals found in industrial waste and municipal sewer. The physical properties meet the minimum classification of 435400C as defined and described by ASTM D3350. The pipe is made using state-of-the-art seamless construction with a heavier inner wall to provide impact strength and structural integrity.
ADS SaniTite pipe is a dual wall product with a smooth waterway which provides outstanding hydraulics. The pipe is lightweight, easy to handle and cut in the field, yet it is able to withstand long-term environmental and installed conditions. Longer bells and spigots provide additional sealing area and greater ease and speed in joint assembly. The spigot has been designed with space for a second gasket to provide redundant joint sealing. SaniTite sewer pipe is available in 30"-60" (750-1500mm) diameters and 20' (6m) lengths. A complete line of fittings and accessories is available for all application needs.
