January 29, 2010 - P621 series features single piece 316L stainless steel sensing element with silicon glass fused strain gauge, and has no o-rings or seals to provide leak-proof reliability. Units are offered with pressure ranges to 1,000 psi, with variety of Tri-Clamp or Cherry-Burrell process connections and various electrical connections, including IP69K options for washdown protection. Each unit comes with NIST traceable calibration certificate and is CIP and SIP maintenance compatible.

Tel-Tru Introduces P621 Sanitary Pressure Transmitter


Silicon Glass Fused Sensor Series

Rochester, NY -- Tel-Tru Manufacturing Company, a premier supplier of temperature and pressure instrumentation, expands its Silicon Glass Fused Sensor Series of Pressure Transmitters. The new P621 sanitary model will advance the sensing and monitoring capabilities of the dairy, food and beverage, pharmaceutical, cosmetic, and biotech markets; and the OEMs serving them.

The P621 is the newest addition to Tel-Tru's P600 Series, which features a single piece 316L stainless steel sensing element with a high output silicon glass fused strain gauge. This combination maximizes cycle life even in the presence of pressure spikes, vibration, and aggressive fluid media. In keeping with Tel-Tru's trademark quality and service, the P621 comes with a three-year warranty.

The P621 is designed and manufactured in accordance with 3A standards, and is compatible with CIP and SIP maintenance procedures. The robust, 316L sensor is welded to a 316 stainless steel body, and includes no O-rings or seals, providing leak-proof reliability.

The P621 meets the needs of most sanitary applications. Three accuracy classes are available, including ±0.50%, ±0.25%, or ±0.15% of calibrated span. The transmitter can be ordered with pressure ranges to 1,000 psi and with a variety of Tri-Clamp or Cherry-Burrell process connections. Many electrical connections are available, including IP69K options for maximum washdown protection. The P621 is field re-rangeable, for the utmost in application flexibility. Each unit also comes with a calibration certificate (NIST traceable).

The P621 pressure transmitter is manufactured in Tel-Tru's Rochester, NY factory.
