Available in 5 and 6 in. dia models, SX Series rotates at 12,000 rpm and comes in non-vacuum, self-vacuum, and external vacuum models. Rotating exhaust silencer on non-vacuum and external vacuum units directs exhaust air 30° away from operator. Temperature-insulating, oil-resistant handle enables comfortable positioning for single- or 2-handled control. Equipped with 0.3 hp motor, sanders are rated for 2,000 hr of service and come with Velcro-backed or optional self-adhesive pads.

CP's Pneumatic SX Series Sanders Now Give Operators A Handle On Surface Perfection
There's nothing like a smooth finish on metal and wood. And to help you attain an exceptional surface finish more easily Chicago Pneumatic (CP) now provides a long handle on its low profile SX sanders.
The temperature-insulating, oil-resistant handle accommodates comfortable positioning for single- or two-handled control, as shown below. And, as with non-handled versions of SX Sanders, palm grips are included in two sizes for added operator comfort.
The handled SX Series Sanders rotate at 12,000 rpm. Choose between 5-inch or 6-inch diameter models in three types: non-vacuum, self-vacuum and external vacuum. Most models are available in choice of two random orbiting patterns:
o 3/16 in / 5 mm diameter for a standard finish
o 3/32 in / 2.4 mm diameter for an ultra fine finish.

SX Sander Range
Self-vacuum sanders (ending in V) include a hose and bag. Central vacuum models (ending in C) are designed for facilities with a central dust collection system. Two of the non-vacuum models offer a vinyl pressure sensitive adhesive (PSA) sanding pad. Sanding discs are not included.

Sanding Pads
Choose between standard VelcroŽ -backed (hook & loop) or optional self-adhesive pads sized for the tool. The weight of the pad (with 3rdparty sanding disc) ranges from 100 to 130 grams for minimal tool vibration.
