Model QSV-700 Quik(TM) Sampling Valve enables liquid flow to be regulated during sampling process, eliminating need for flow to be turned on or off. Fail-safe, spring-to-close mechanism, ensures that handle closes valve when released. ANSI Class 600 valve measures 7 x 2 in. and fits in tight configurations. It features 45° outlet for large flow capacity, ¾ in. inlet, bubble-tight shut-off, and soft-seat design. Valve handles all fluids except those with suspended solids.

New Quik(TM) Sampling Valve (QSV-700) by Strahman Valves
PROVIDES PRECISE SAMPLING CONTROL AND OPERATOR SAFETY
FLORHAM PARK, NJ (May 27) - A new Quik(TM) Sampling Valve has been announced by Strahman Valves, Inc. for use in manufacturing, processing and refining ooerations where small, precisely controlled samples of fluids are required. Employing a unique combination of both rising stem and quarter-turn valves, Strahman's Quik Sampling Valve enables the liquid flow to be regulated during the sampling process. No longer does the flow need to be turned "on" or "off" during sampling.
"Flow can be regulated by applying a small amount of pressure against the ergonomically designed handle, or by using an automatically controlled quarter-turn rack and pinion actuator," said Edmond Ilg, Strahman product manager, in making the new product announcement. "We've also included some unique safety mechanisms in the valve's design. The valve has a fail-safe, spring-to-close mechanism, so the handle, when released, closes the valve."
Ideal for use in injection service (reverse flow) of process chemicals, cleaning agents and other liquid applications, the ANSI Class 600 Quik Sampling Valve Is suitable for handling all fluids except those that have suspended solids that can lodge under the valve seat.
The compact design of the Quik Sampling Valve (7"x2") enables it to be easily installed, even in tight configurations. The valve also comes with an optional 6" extender, enabling it to sample fluids from inside vessels or process lines up to 6" from the exterior wall.
