February 7, 2003 - Modular platform components consist of surface mounts, including valves and filters, plus substrates and manifolds to assemble process analyzer and sample-handling systems. System meets requirements of ANSI/ISA 76.00.02 specification for 1.5 in. footprint. Configurator software allows user to place, define, and connect components on computerized layout grid. It identifies additional flow connectors necessary to build fluid system and generates bill of materials and assembly diagram.

New Swagelok® Modular Platform Offering Makes Process Analytical Sampling Systems Easy
SOLON, Ohio (January 27, 2003) - New Swagelok modular platform components, together with new configurator software, make it easy to develop and assemble complete process analyzer and sample-handling systems using an ANSI/ISA 76.00.02-compliant miniature modular design. Thanks to this new approach, system designers can greatly reduce the size, weight and flow path volume of their process analysis and sampling systems, while reducing the costs required to design, build and maintain them.
Swagelok modular platform components consist of:
â€¢ Surface mounts, including shut-off, needle, metering, toggle, and check valves, as well as filters
The system meets all requirements of the ANSI/ISA 76.00.02 specification for the 1.5 in. (38.2 mm) footprint.
The configurator software allows the user to place, define and connect surface mount components on a computerized layout grid. The configurator identifies all of the additional flow connectors that are necessary to build the fluid system and generates a bill of materials and assembly diagram to simplify ordering and final assembly of the MPC series assembly.
