Beaverton, Oregon, USA: Allied Power Products, Inc. (APPI) has announced the introduction of their new Columbia H2000-D-00S, a 2000 pound capacity DC powered hoist designed for raising large sails.
According to APPI's President, Bob Peterson, this unit offers high performance hoisting capability in a compact package. The Columbia H2000-D-00S features a dependable 24V DC motor, marine epoxy paint finish, a parallel drive to conserve space and completely enclosed permanently lubed 3-stage planetary gear reduction. An integragted APPI AutoAdvance Line Spooler ensures proper line spooling even in crowded below-deck spaces.
