Keltron Introduces LS 7000 Life Safety Event Management System Expands Customer-Proven Alarm Monitoring Solutions With Total Event Management

Waltham, Mass., May 15, 2003 - Keltron Corporation, a leading provider of life safety event management solutions, introduces the LS 7000, Keltron's PC-based solution for fast, dependable and universally compatible life safety event management. Keltron's LS 7000 combines the flexibility and efficiency of PC-based, Internet-compatible computing with the universal compatibility and dependability for which Keltron's solutions are known.

Keltron's LS 7000 meets the mission critical needs of the life safety industry by providing direct and efficient access to life safety event information and enabling the fastest response to critical fire and security situations. The LS 7000 delivers alarm monitoring, response and dispatch services through a Windows-based, secure, reliable and flexible alarm management system. The system is capable of receiving alarms from multiple FACPs and from a wide variety of industry standard technologies including active network radio, distributed multiplex, digital alarm communicator/receiver, direct connect, and coded signal inputs and provides programmable outputs.

"New building construction, facilities expansion and equipment upgrades frequently require the addition or centralization of life safety event management systems for municipalities, multi-building institutions, and commercial, residential and industrial complexes", said Harvey Fox, president and founder of Keltron Corporation. "That growth, coupled with increasing regulations and new building codes, challenges today's facilities managers with finding solutions to substantially improve their organizations' fire and security response performance within their allotted personnel and budget."

Keltron's new LS 7000 provides multiple advantages to both the systems integrator and to the organization that uses the system. By allowing remote programming and diagnostics, the LS 7000 saves dealers time and manpower on installation and maintenance. The familiar Windows operating system reduces operator-training time and increases accuracy by providing the operator with event type, location, hazards, and other mission critical information and suggesting the most appropriate response strategy. Organizations benefit from direct life safety event monitoring and flexible, scalable operation with fast response to life safety events.
