Weighing in at only 4 pounds is Pelican’s newest light weight contender, Big D. This new heavy duty spotlight is the brightest in its class and has the power that’ll cut through the thickest smoke. Protected by a stainless steel lens guard, the high output Xenon lamp is generated through dual mode operation, constant on or emergency strobe. Big D’s pivoting head rotates almost 180 degrees, which allows it to be set down for low spotlighting or upright for aiming high. The Pelican-tough waterproof body sits on a wide stable platform, which keeps Big D balanced when used while crawling. Sturdy, adjustable nylon shoulder strap is included for ease in carrying. Quick change battery packs ensure you’re never left in the dark. Also available is the Big D Rechargeable, with a base that has the same mounting and wiring footprints as the LiteBox®. Big D Rechargeable offers one hand removal from its charger base and is NFPA Fire Truck approved. Safety approvals pending.
