Both coatings are permanently bonded to lenses.

The new groundbreaking technology brings together the benefits of the industry's leading anti-fog and anti-scratch coatings onto a single lens. With this development, Uvex becomes the first safety eyewear and goggle brand with dual-coating technology for the American industrial safety market.
Dura-streme technology delivers the industry's two best coatings on one lens. Proprietary Uvex Ultra-dura® anti-scratch coating protects the outside of the lens, providing premium scratch and chemical resistance, while on the interior of the lens, the robust performance of Uvextreme® anti-fog coating keeps vision clear in environments where humidity and physical exertion are typical. Both coatings are permanently bonded to the lens for performance that lasts even after repeated routine cleanings.
